My name is Elizabeth, Iβm 24-years-old from the North East of England and I work for Emotional Logic. Over the past two and a half years Iβve lost all of my grandparents. It hasnβt been easy. First my Granda to cancer, secondly my Nana to a heart attack, and thirdly my Grandma to COVID.
Its awful to see people around you suffering, so I want to try and do as much as I can to help others β this is why Iβm taking part in the BHF Dechox. Throughout the month I will not be consuming chocolate or sweets (which is going to be hard because Iβve just discovered putting Nutella in my porridge lol) as well as aiming to walk at least 10,000 steps a day.
Living in a western world gives us the opportunity to often indulge without really thinking we are β think about how many fast foods restaurants are now just part of a weekly routine or how having a packet of crisps or bar of chocolate is classed as a daily essential for many. I think itβs time we changed our habits to create a healthier world and a happier heart.
Why take part
