Research Panel Terms and Conditions

  1. The Emotional Logic Research Panel (the panel) is open to all individuals who are aged 18 years or over, resident in the UK and specific to one individual with a unique e-mail address.
  2. All responses to research will be anonymised and treated as confidential and no individual responses will be published in any of our external communications without obtaining your consent first.
  3. By agreeing to join the panel you agree that Emotional Logic and their clients can use results of research exercises, including your suggestions, to support the development and improvement of the clients’ products and services and marketing communication.
  4. As part of the recruitment process, you will be invited to take part in a short survey to establish your profile characteristics and communication preferences.
  5. The panel will be operated in accordance with the Market Research Society Code of Conduct.
  6. This is an ongoing project, where you may be invited to take part in a number of research projects throughout the year on an ad hoc basis and we do not guarantee that you will be invited to any or any specific number of research activities.
  7. Participation is entirely voluntary, and members of the panel can choose not to participate in any research project that they are invited to take part in.
  8. Research projects will typically take the shape of short surveys but on occasion we may invite you to take part in focus groups. Surveys will typically take under 5 minutes to complete.
  9. On completion of a survey or participation in a focus group you will be entered into a prize draw or may receive a shopping voucher (details of which will be specified in the invitation to the research activity).
  10. You can decide to cancel membership of the panel at any time by emailing panel@emotional-logic.co.uk
  11. Panel members agree to supply true and honest opinions and to update their personal data when it changes and when you are requested to do so.
  12. As a panel member you agree to treat all information received as a result of your participation in Emotional Logic panels as confidential (“Confidential Information”). You agree that you will not remove, copy or allow others to copy any document, publication, or other item which contains Confidential Information.
  13. Emotional Logic reserves the right to cancel membership or refuse entry to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions and/or if your behaviour is deemed at our sole discretion to be inappropriate or otherwise unacceptable.
  1. Panel members are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry.
  2. Emotional Logic reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Research Panel where it becomes necessary to do so.
  3. Emotional Logic is not responsible for any loss or damage of any kind suffered or incurred as a consequence of your participation in our consumer research except in the case or death or personal injury arising from our negligence.
  4. Personal data supplied during the course of research projects will be processed as set out in Emotional Logic’s Privacy Note.
  5. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and volunteers submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
